I bought this PC because my Linux machine was 15 years old, and limited to 8 Gb of memory. This one ships with 32 Gb and has tons of storage (1 Tb NvME + 2 Tb HDD).Any Linux distro will run very fast on this processor (i7-7700 x 8 @ 4.2 GHz).So it was a good fit. I installed Ubuntu and kept the Windows 10 Pro as dual boot.I am delighted with the performance. The description says "Dual-Monitor capable", but I am using three monitors now and the graphics are very fast.Tek Refurbs was very helpful and responsive, offering to upgrade to Optiplex with the same specs. Good vendor!Be aware:1) Ubuntu (and possibly other distros) does not like the default RAID settings. You will need to reset BIOS to use AHCI, which requires some fiddling. There are excellent how-to guides from Ubuntu and other sites.2) The processor is incompatible with Windows 11, so an upgrade is not in the cards. If you are happy with W10 indefinitely, or (like me) have no intention of using this as a primary Windows machine, not a problem. In all, a richly featured, high-performance machine for Linux at a more than acceptable price. Five stars!
